Responsibilities:
- Review partnership/corporate returns.
- Read & understand partnership agreements to determine and calculate allocations, shareholder basis, etc.
- Perform research and draft memoranda on applicable tax issues.

State & Local Tax (SALT) Manager

- Interact closely with KN+S team members and clients to provide high-quality, innovative and practical tax compliance, consulting and planning in a timely and efficient manner.

Audit Managers & Seniors
We are looking for audit professionals ready to make a positive change in their careers. We have an immediate need for experienced auditors (Managers & Seniors) with 3+ years of experience. We have a diverse audit client base consisting mainly of high technology, financial services, life sciences, and manufacturing. An audit senior is responsible for performing fieldwork for audit and review engagements with minimal supervision. In addition, an audit senior will oversee staff and assist with training. The audit manager will be responsible to oversee and run engagements and manage client relationships. Audit managers will also have the opportunity to instruct and train staff members in firm-sponsored training programs and on-the-job.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding of firm policies and best practices
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Understanding of audit risk assessment and financial statement assertions
- Ability to research and help resolve technical accounting issues

Senior Tax Accountant
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax working papers and reports, ensuring that all significant accounting, compliance, disclosures and reporting matters have been identified
- Supervise/train tax staff
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code, regulations and other tax authority standards
- Complete tax research assignments and propose solutions, experience with bookkeeping, tax planning and any other tax related projects
Position Requirements:
- Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation of individual, partnership, and corporation returns. Fiduciary return preparation a plus
- Tax planning (BNA software) and preparation for high-net-worth individuals and their related entities
- A minimum of 3-5 years of current and/or recent tax experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, great follow-through, outstanding time management, the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
The position prefers:
- CPA and MST/MSA
- Proficient with Profx; Engagement
