KNSer’s just love the summer time! This is the season when the work begins to slow to a more normal pace of life and we begin to think about new firm initiatives for the coming year. It’s a chance for us to also enjoy the summer weather, reconnect with friends and family and just relax with a good book or two. The KNS family is growing, we are actively recruiting (know anyone?? send them our way!) and we are having new babies and a few more marriages as well throughout our team members.

Over the summer, our management team is actively looking for more ways to make your experience a better one while working with us. Through some new technology offerings and revamping of some systems, we hope to speed up our workflow more efficiently and communicate with you more simply in the future. Of course our number one goal, though, is client confidentiality.  Stay tuned for more on this into the fall.

We are busy getting trained and participating in technical sessions both in tax and audit, and are preparing some much awaited client focused seminars for you on the new revenue recognition standards and new tax law changes. Also stay tuned on more networking and educational sessions into the fall. You will more about these soon as well.

In addition, all staff members are in the process of going through their annual performance reviews this summer and meeting with their mentors and counselors. It’s a lot of work, but our team is great and we want to provide them with the best advice and counseling we can.

As I said, the living is easy right now, but KNS is truly busy and using this time wisely. We wish all of you a happy and relaxing summer and look forward to seeing you all very soon.
